Overview
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) cover your interaction with Identify & Translate: AI Scan, an Application provided by Megado LIMITED (“Company”, “we”, “us”).
Opening or continuing to use the Application shows that you accept this agreement. If you reject it, stop using the Application.
License and restrictions
Megado LIMITED gives you permission to use the Application on a limited, personal, non-transferable basis, subject to these Terms and the law.
Do not reproduce, resell, lease, alter, sublicense, reverse engineer, or build derivative versions of the Application unless the law expressly allows that activity.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Application for illegal, misleading, abusive, or harmful activity;
- scan a person in order to trace, expose, or pursue them, or to build a picture of who they are;
- submit frames through automation software, emulators, or batched requests instead of scanning by hand, or work around any cap on request volume;
- disrupt normal operation or try to get around technical protections;
- probe, unpack, or derive the underlying code unless a legal rule specifically permits it;
- use the Application in a way that violates another person’s rights.
What a result is, and what it is not
The Application looks at a frame, proposes what the object most likely is, and shows pictures published elsewhere that resemble it. Both halves of that answer are estimates. Framing, dim light, distance, wear, and obscuring packaging all degrade recognition quality. Objects that resemble one another are a frequent source of wrong answers.
The Application is not a safety check. Anything that will be eaten, inhaled, applied to skin, taken as medication, or otherwise brought into contact with a body must be confirmed by a qualified person or an authoritative label. A scan result is not such a confirmation. The same applies to questions of authenticity, value, ownership, or safety, and to any medical, legal, or financial decision.
Matching pictures lead to pages run by other people. We do not host that material, do not check it, and are not answerable for what a page contains or claims once you open it.
Functionality and device responsibility
Every scan starts with a choice you make: the object, the frame or the library file, and what you subsequently do with the answer. Those choices are yours.
Changes to your device or operating system may affect security and app behavior, and you are responsible for those changes.
Connectivity and third parties
Recognition needs network access, so parts of the Application will not work offline. Your carrier or internet provider may charge for data. We may also use operational vendors for recognition, image matching, diagnostics, hosting, or support.
Subscriptions
The Application may include paid access options. The current price, duration, renewal details, and any trial information are shown before purchase in the app or App Store.

Refunds
Apple runs the App Store payment and refund path. Megado LIMITED cannot directly reverse App Store transactions.
Disclaimers
The Application is offered without a promise that every feature will always be available, compatible, or free from mistakes.
No guarantee attaches to any part of a result. An object may go unrecognized. A returned name may be wrong. A linked page may be outdated, inaccurate, or unsafe to open.
Limitation of liability
Where the law allows, Megado LIMITED is not responsible for indirect losses, incidental harm, special damages, consequential losses, or similar claims connected with use of the Application, including anything that follows from acting on a result.
If a legal rule does not allow exclusion, our responsibility is narrowed as much as that rule permits.
Updates and termination
We may release changes for compatibility, reliability, security, or feature improvements. Some updates may be needed for the Application to continue working properly.
We may limit access when needed for safety, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or operations. You can stop using the Application whenever you choose.
Changes to these Terms
If these Terms change, we will publish the revised text here and update the date. Continuing to use the Application after that means the revised Terms apply to you.
