Overview
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) cover your interaction with Smart Compress AI, an Application provided by Megado LIMITED (“Company”, “we”, “us”).
Opening or continuing to use the Application shows that you accept this agreement. If you reject it, stop using the Application.
License and restrictions
Megado LIMITED gives you permission to use the Application on a limited, personal, non-transferable basis, subject to these Terms and the law.
Do not reproduce, resell, lease, alter, sublicense, reverse engineer, or build derivative versions of the Application unless the law expressly allows that activity.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Application for illegal, misleading, abusive, or harmful activity;
- disrupt normal operation or try to get around technical protections;
- probe, unpack, or derive the underlying code unless a legal rule specifically permits it;
- use the Application in a way that violates another person’s rights.
Functionality, device responsibility
The Application provides tools for working with selected photos or videos and for asking the chat assistant questions. You decide which media to open, which output option to use, and what to do with the exported file.
Changes to your device or operating system may affect security and app behavior, and you are responsible for those changes.
AI chat assistant. The Application includes a chat assistant that can generate automated responses. Those responses may be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation, so do not treat them as professional advice. Text you submit may be handled by AI service providers, including OpenAI, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Connectivity and third parties
Some parts of the Application may need network access. Your carrier or internet provider may charge for data. We may also use operational vendors for diagnostics, hosting, or support.
Subscriptions
The Application may include paid access options. The current price, duration, renewal details, and any trial information are shown before purchase in the app or App Store.

Before relying on an export, review its quality, size, and where you plan to use or store it.
Limitation of liability
Where the law allows, Megado LIMITED is not responsible for indirect losses, incidental harm, special damages, consequential losses, or similar claims connected with use of the Application.
If a legal rule does not allow exclusion, our responsibility is narrowed as much as that rule permits.
Updates and termination
We may release changes for compatibility, reliability, security, or feature improvements. Some updates may be needed for the Application to continue working properly.
We may limit access when needed for safety, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or operations. You can stop using the Application whenever you choose.
Changes to these Terms
If these Terms change, we will publish the revised text here and update the date. Continuing to use the Application after that means the revised Terms apply to you.
