Operator and scope
Duplicate Photos Cleaner (the “Application”) is provided and operated by Megado LIMITED (the “Company”, “we”, “us”). This Policy applies to the Application and related support communications.
Information we process
1) On-device library data (Photos, Videos, Live Photos, Contacts)
When you grant permission, the Application can access your Photos and/or Contacts to provide cleanup workflows. For core functionality, analysis is designed to run locally (for example, grouping duplicates/similar items, finding screenshots/screen recordings, and helping you review duplicate contacts).
We do not require you to upload your personal media to our servers to use core cleanup features.
2) Support communications (optional)
If you email us, we receive your email address and the content you send (and any attachments you choose to include). We use this information only to respond and provide assistance.
3) Diagnostics and performance data
To maintain stability and security, we may collect limited diagnostic information (e.g., crash reports) which can include device model, iOS version, application version, timestamps, and aggregated performance statistics.
Why we process information
| Category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| On-device library access | To provide cleanup features you request (review duplicates/similar items, large media, screenshots, contacts). |
| Support messages | To respond to requests, troubleshoot issues, and improve support quality. |
| Diagnostics | To improve reliability, detect bugs, prevent abuse, and maintain security. |
Permissions and controls
The Application requests access only for the features you choose. You can change or revoke permissions at any time: iOS Settings → Clean Storage → adjust Photos / Contacts.
- Photos: used to display and analyze your library for cleanup workflows.
- Contacts: used to help you review duplicate contacts (if you use that feature).
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers only when necessary to: (a) provide analytics/diagnostics, (b) maintain infrastructure, or (c) comply with legal obligations.
Service providers are required to protect information and use it only to provide services to us. They do not receive your personal photos/videos/contacts for core cleanup features.
International processing
Some providers may process technical data in jurisdictions outside your country. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards (such as contractual protections) to support lawful cross-border processing.
Retention and security
We retain support emails only as long as needed to address your request and for reasonable record-keeping. Diagnostics may be retained to analyze trends and improve stability.
We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no security method is perfect.

Payments and refunds
We do not collect or store payment card information. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple via the App Store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Refunds
Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple. Apple reviews refund requests and makes the final decision according to its policies. We do not have the ability to issue refunds for App Store purchases.
