Operator and scope

Megado LIMITED is the company behind Smart Compress AI (the “Application”). This Policy covers the Application, the website pages for it, and messages you send to our support address.

Information we process

1) Media library data (Photos, Videos, Live Photos)

After you allow Photos access, the Application can show media from your library so you may pick items for a smaller export. The app experience is centered on the items you intentionally open, including photos, clips, and screen recordings.

Browsing and choosing media does not require sending your whole library to us.

2) Support communications (optional)

If you email us, we receive your email address and the content you send (and any attachments you choose to include). We use support messages to understand the request, reply to you, and keep a reasonable support record.

3) Diagnostics and performance data

For reliability, we may receive limited technical signals such as crash reports, app build, iOS version, device type, timestamps, and performance summaries.

4) AI chat assistant (optional)

The Application includes an optional AI chat assistant. When you use it, your prompts and messages are transmitted to a third-party AI provider (OpenAI) for processing. OpenAI processes such information in accordance with its own privacy practices. It is your responsibility to review the privacy policy and terms and conditions published on their official websites. Only the text you enter is sent to the AI provider; your media files are not sent through AI chat unless you explicitly include information in your message. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the chat.

Diagnostics To spot crashes, diagnose technical problems, protect the service, and keep the app stable.
AI chat assistant To process prompts and messages you submit and generate AI responses.

Permissions and controls

The Application asks for Photos access so you can choose media for compression. You may later change that permission in iOS Settings under Smart Compress AI.

  • Photos: lets the app display media you may want to work with.
  • Media output: supports creating the smaller file you request.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not broker user profiles or sell audience lists. Limited information may be handled by vendors that help with diagnostics, infrastructure, support, or legal compliance.

Vendors must use information for the service they provide to us. Your media library is not handed over as a general collection for browsing or selection.

International processing

Technical or support-related information may be handled in another country. When legal rules require it, we rely on protections intended for international handling.

Retention and security

Support emails are kept only for as long as they are useful for handling the request and ordinary records. Diagnostic records may be kept while they help us understand reliability patterns.

We use reasonable safeguards, while recognizing that no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your rights and choices

Your local law may give you choices such as reviewing, correcting, or asking us to erase certain records. For questions about support records or privacy choices, email us at here@megado-cy-apps.com.

  • Change Photos access from iOS Settings whenever you want.
  • Ask us to remove support messages where applicable law allows.
  • Use device controls for analytics or tracking choices where iOS provides them.

Payments and refunds

We do not handle your card number. App purchases run through Apple, and subscription renewal settings are managed from your Apple account.

Refunds

Refund requests for App Store purchases must go through Apple. Apple decides those requests under its own rules.

Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly gather children’s personal information.

FAQ

Does the app upload my photos?

You may work with items on your iPhone without sending us a complete copy of your library.

Does the app change media automatically?

No. The app creates an output only after you choose what to do.

How do I revoke Photos access?

Open iOS Settings, find Smart Compress AI, and change Photos access there.

Updates to this Policy

If this Policy changes, the new wording will appear here with an updated date.
